The Gump Biological Station is a research and teaching facilty operated by the University of California. Located on beautiful Cook's Bay on the Island of Moorea in French Polynesia, it offers a unique opportunity for teaching tropical ecology and marine biology and ethnography. The EME weather station provides ongoing data for research projects, notably, information on ultraviolet light input that may be contributing to changes in the coral reefs.
